2013 National Youth Congress of University of the Philippines Economics Society and UP School of Economics Student Council

The University of the Philippines Economics Society (UP ECOSOC) and the UP School of Economics Student Council (UP SESC) will hold its 2013 National Youth Congress on August 30, 2013, Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on August 31, 2013, Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the GT Toyota Asian Cultural Center Auditorium, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
The Congress aims to equip the participants with the proper analytical tools in the form of basic economic concepts, which will help them in formulating a critical and well-formed evaluation of the current state of the Philippine society, more importantly, its government.

The target participants to this activity are high school students from both public and private schools nationwide.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
