In compliance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 7079 otherwise
known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the National Secondary
School Paper Advisers Association (NSSPAA) will conduct the
Seminar-Workshop for NSSPAA Officers and Trainors on May 29-31, 2011
(exclusive of travel time) at the Regional Education Learning Center
(RELC), Region V, Legaspi City.
The seminar-workshop aims to: - provide the participants with the necessary technical skills to produce electronically generated campus papers;
- develop their technical skills on digital photography;
- share the best practices in school paper production and student trainings in their respective regions; and
- exchange ideas, experiences and skills among the participants in the management and production of the campus paper.
The following are invited to participate in this activity: NSSPAA officers, Secondary School Paper Advisers Association President plus one (1) officer, Ex-Officio Regional Association Officers, trainors and three (3) members of the secretariat. They are required to bring their own laptops and digital cameras. A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) will be charged to each participant to defray expenses for board and lodging and honoraria for the resource persons.
