The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of Alternative Learning System (BALS) will conduct the 2012 Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS A&E) Test Registration and Administration both at the elementary and secondary levels in seventeen (17) regions covering two hundred five (205) divisions nationwide on the following dates:

The registration period will be from June 12 to July 31, 2012. All interested test takers/registrants may register in the duly designated Registration and Testing Center (RTC) identified by the Schools Division/City Superintendent (SDS). A duly appointed District ALS Coordinator (DALSC) shall serve as the Test Registration Officer (TRO). The RTC in each division will be announced later and will be posted at the DepEd website: www.deped.gov.ph.
Activities to be undertaken for the ALS A&E Test Registration and Administration are scheduled as follows:
