Adjustment of cargo-related tariff on International Containerized and Non-containerized cargo

The Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI), received an information today that the Philippine Ports Authority issued Memorandum Circular No, 7-2012 (Circular) approving the adjustment of cargo-related tariff on international containerized and non-containerized cargo at South Harbor and the Manila International Container Terminal, Adjustments are as follows:

1st Tranche - Eight (8%) percent increase on the present rate to take effect 30 days after the publication of the Circular: and

2nd Tranche - Seven (7%) percent increase or a total of 15% increase over previous tariff and not compounded, to be effective six (6) months after the first tranche.

The said Circular will be effective thirty (30) days from publication on June 16, 2012.
