The Society of Applied Mathematics of the University of the Philippines
(SAM-UP) Los Baňos will conduct the Math in Action (MiA) 2012 on January
14-15, 2012 at the Vargas Ground, Makiling National Scout Reservation
(Jamboree), Los Baňos, Laguna.
The activity aims to enhance the students’ understanding and appreciation of Mathematics and its application to the society. The participants are the high school students and their teachers from the R-IV¬CALABARZON and National Capital Region (NCR) areas. Each student-participant shall be charged a registration fee of Seven Hundred Pesos (PhP700.00) and for the teacher-participant is Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) to cover the costs of meals, camping fee and materials.
