15th Regional Chemistry Congress (15th RCC)

The Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP)and the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas (KKP) of Regions X, XII, ARMM, Caraga will conduct the 15th Regional Chemistry Congress (15th RCC) on October 27-29, 2011 at the Farmer's Training Center, Central Mindanao University (CMU), University Town, Musuan Bukidnon. The CMU Chemistry Department will co-host this activity.
The over-riding theme of the congress "Chemistry...our life...our future" is also the theme of the International Year of Chemistry 2011 (IYC 2011). The 15th RCC is dedicated to the promotion of the objectives of the IYC 2011. Thus, the congress aims to:
  1. increase public appreciation of chemistry in meeting the world needs;
  2. increase the interests of young people in chemistry;
  3. generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry; and
  4. celebrate the 100th year of Madame Curie's Nobel Prize and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the International Association of Chemical Societies.
