First Quarterly Membership Meeting and Seminar of The Philippine Association for Government Budget Administration (PAGBA), Inc.

The Philippine Association for Government Budget Administration (PAGBA), Inc. will conduct its First Quarterly Membership Meeting and Seminar with the theme "Bottom-up Budgeting: Empowering People from Below” on April 18-21, 2012 at the Skylight Convention Center, Roxas St., Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.


This activity is in line with the government’s policy of "making planning and budgeting processes at all levels of government more participatory through the genuine involvement of grass roots organization and communities.” The topics to be discussed are the following:
  1. National Government’s Anti-Poverty Strategy;
  2. Bottom-up Budgeting As A Tool for Poverty Alleviation;
  3. Social Sectoral Allocation of the Budget,
  4. Linking Corruption with Poverty; and
  5. Other related topics.
The government officials and employees are invited to attend this activity.

Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (PhP4,800.00) to cover expenses for lunch, snacks and lecture materials.
