For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed is a copy of a Memorandum from the Office of the President dated November 22, 2011 entitled "Invitation to Nominate Candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize 2012" which is self-explanatory.

TO: ALL HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS AND AGENCIES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT, AND STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGESThe Norwegian Nobel Committee is accepting nominations for the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize, which will be awarded on 10 December 2012.
The Statutes of the Nobel Foundation specify categories of the following individuals who are eligible to make nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize:
Nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize should be submitted before 1 February 2012 to The Norwegian Nobel Committee at Henrik Ibsens gate 51, NO-0255 OSLO, Norway.
