Training on Behavior Management of Children With Special Needs in the Classroom

The Special Education Division-Bureau of Elementary Education (SPED-BEE) in cooperation with the National Special Educators (NASE), Inc. and the Philippine Association for the Retarded (PAR) will conduct the Training on Behaviour Management of Children with Special Needs in the Classroom on November 12-13, 2011 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City.
The topics to be discussed during this hands-on training are the following: (1) indicators of children with special needs; (2) behavior modification techniques; (3) sensory integration environment; (4) modification techniques; (5) language simulation techniques play; and (6) Individual Education Plan (IEP). A team of specialists and practitioners will handle the sessions.

The participants to this activity are regular and SPED teachers, supervisors, administrators, therapists, parents, undergraduat and graduate students.

Each participant will be charged Four Thousand Pesos (PhP4,000.00) as payment for registration fee to cover expenses for a one night and two days accommodation, meals, handouts and certificate. Pre-registration is required due to limited slots. Check-in starts upon registration.
