World Teachers Month Celebration

The Global City Innovative College in collaboration with the National Capital Region (GCIC-NCR) -Nine Divisions (Makati, Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Las Piñas, Taguig-Pateros and San Juan) has organized programs and activities for the World Teachers Month Celebration. The celebration has the following three (3) features:

1. Part I is a massive campaign among the third and fourth year students to attract them to the teaching profession by the Metrobank Foundation’s Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED);
2. Part II is the inter-divisional competitions for teachers, students and parents; and
3. Part III is the Teachers’ Convention to be held on October 1, 2011 at the Meralco Multipurpose Hall, Meralco Foundation, Pasig City at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
   

This activity aims to:

1. share with the participants the joys and challenges of internationally acclaimed educators;
2. share with them the gifts of time, goodwill and efforts to learn together; and
3. strengthen the teachers passion and commitment to inspire, initiate and to innovate them in their varied roles as educators.
   

The target participants to this convention are the high school teachers from both private and public schools of the nine city divisions of Makati, Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Las Piñas, San Juan and Taguig-Pateros.

A registration fee of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) shall be charged to each participant to defray the expenses for food and materials. The proceeds of which will be used to fund expenses at the SM Mall of Asia for the culminating activities on October 4, 2011.
