Content Specialist

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform daily web content updates, perform daily registration to a variety of web tools as well as testing and sending of marketing emails.  E-Commerce Content Specialist should also posses a strong understanding of web technologies, standards, and user-interface. This person will work in collaboration with Marketing E-Commerce Managers on content needs including, but not limited to, the expansion and maintenance of the business websites, email campaigns, and online marketing (video, flash, etc.).

• Daily Web Updates: Pricing, Product Information Images, promotional banners and construction of landing pages.
• Ensures that all website elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.
• Handle day-to-day registrations for various web tools.
• Test and send marketing email campaigns through Silverpop
• Support projects associated with DYO (Design Your Own) tools.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in web design and development, communications or marketing with 3+ years experience in website maintenance.
• Experience with web content management system for e-commerce,
  such as: Magento, Joomla, SiteCore or Drupal
• Knowledge in HTML and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
