Baby Sue is 18in/46cm tall and has a hard plastic head with an auburn caracul (Persian wool), curly wig. She has large blue sleep eyes with long eyelashes and her eyes open and close easily. She has a cloth, stuffed body with a non-working mama inserted in her lower back. She has rubber arms and bent legs. She is wearing her original blue organza baby dress, pink satin bow and matching bonnet. The dress and bonnet are trimmed with beautiful broderie anglaise flowers in pink, blue and yellow. The fabric has faded slightly with age but still has its stiffness. Underneath her dress is a pink cotton petticoat with matching pantaloons trimmed with tiny lace. She has her original cream shoes and rayon socks. Her clothing is in superb condition for its age, with only a few tiny holes in the organza bonnet and dress, and her pink satin sash has a brown age mark. Her pink cotton petticoat and pantaloons have faded slightly with age, but have no holes or tears. Baby Sue has survived her 70+ years extremely well, and she displays beautifully.
