Can I add a blade SSD to my system?

"Sadly I don’t think your system has the needed blade SSD slot hardware to support the custom Apple SSD. Only the Fusion Drive’d systems or systems which where sold with an SSD from the start have the blade SSD already present and you can’t add the missing hardware to support it.

The best you can do is get an external drive or look at getting a new system which offers the blade SSD. Be aware the blade SSD in this series is not very fast as its only a SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) mSATA."
