How do I get windows 10 64 bit to run on my system

How do I get windows 10 64 bit to run on my system im currently running windows 7 32 bit and want to upgrade to windows 10 64 bit . my system says it is 64 bit compatible but wonrt run windows 10 64 bit on my system
