How long should I be planning on doing a reinstall? [closed]

I'm planning on doing a clean install from Windows Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit.

Give it a few hours. Actual install (for Vista, XP was hella slow) shouldn't be very long at all, but configuration and making sure everything feels right will take more time.

"Install 32-bit to windows 7 64-bit? I am not sure how I (we) could do that.

My advice is don't even take the celophane off the DVD until you have run the Windows 7 Upgrade advisor

As for the upgrade it took me 90 minutes.

I do believe you will be looking at a fresh install. My advice is take the longest time anyone tells you then add on 30 minutes."
