How to repair tear in patagonia rain jacket

How to repair tear in patagonia rain jacket Hi, I have a nice and new Patagonia rain jacket, 2 weeks ago I slipped when coming down a hill and made a 1/2 inch L-shaped tear in the sleeve. I could just stick on duct tape, but have you any other tips?

I have a rain jacket that has a tore in the front of the jacket. The inside of the jacket is made to keep you warm. Is there is a patch that would stick or scretch with the material. I will decorate the patch since it's in the front of the jacket.
