"I performed a successful battery replacement with an iFixit kit per the amazing tutorial here: MacBook Pro 15"" Retina Display Mid 2015 Battery Replacement / The replacement worked, the new iFixit battery was found in the system report, and I performed calibration successfully.

After a few (2-3) days/cycles, the battery seems to have completely “vanished” - no longer visible in the top bar or system reports"
