"First thing to do always when you get like this problem. Is to do the same as Peter did.

Disconnect all connectors then check it with each one separate.

This red screen it means your pwr button flex is bad. Not the power button it self but the sensor that attached to it is damaged during the fix."

You can also have a cheap part that is incompatible. I have seen this with iPhones. You will need a second assembly unit to test this.

I’m just gonna share my experience, I had just done a screen replacement when I came across this same issue (red screen then rebooting loop). I read this thread and rather than buying a new flex cable and having to replace that, I tried cleaning the ports with a high percentage rubbing alcohol, the ports included, all the display ports and the power flex cable. I would try doing this before replacing the flex cable just in case. Hope this helps someone!"
