iPhone 6 front camera & ear speaker not working after screen replaceme

I had exact the opposite problem a few months ago. Front camera was working fine, but Siri couldn't hear me. After replacing the front camera assembly everything was working fine again. Of course you should at first unplug it and plug it in again to see if this could be the problem, but most likely you damaged the flex cable a litte bit and have to change it. You can get those parts very cheap on ebay (for under 10$)

I recently replaced my iPhone 6 screen. Everything went smoothly for the most part. But the ear piece and front facing camera arnt working. The front mic (Siri can hear me) seems to work and the light proximity sensor works. But when I try to make a phone call I hear nothing. Front face camera freezes when you flip it around. Any one else have this problem

Hey I just wanted to say that sometimes the flex cable might have a small tear so even the slightest tear will have the camera and earpiece malfunctioning so to fix the problem and a cheaper way to fix the problem would be to go on eBay in just buying an OEM iPhone 6 camera flex cable And they range from 3 to 15 bucks but just make sure that it's OEM so after you order it you can just replace the old one and I assure you that the camera should work .

As others have stated above, in most cases it's the flex cable, if that is the case just replace. But if your like me and enjoy hot swapping parts ( very dangerous for the health of the parts being swapped) You'll simply need to restart the device. From my testing I noticed that the camera and earpiece don't register until the device is restarted. Sounds so simple... but it works every time for me!
