"No, this is not what I meant. The copper pad under the left diode pin was damaged due to the heat of the burned diode or the desoldering. Therefore also a new diode does not fix the problem because the left side of the diode is just open, connected to nothing.

But I think I found the answer myself. The left side of the diode is connected to right side of the capacitator cluster a little to the left of the diodes, See picture.

Actually, I found this by beeping through a damaged board so I cannot finally confirm this. If anyone can confirm this would be great!

The pad below the left diode connection is very small and only connected through a via. It is NOT connected to the area directly around which only becomes obvious if you take a very close look. So make sure to ONLY connect the left pin of the diode to the capacitator, NOT the area around."

Hello everyone. I have a question connected to the replacement of the diodes. Does anyone know where the left pad of the battery diode (upper one of the two) is going to? Or maybe can check it quickly? I have a mainboard here where the left pad seems to be damaged by the burned diode or the desoldering. Thx
