Unable to load data

My Gear fit recently began displaying the message Unable to load data Tap to retry, none of the c0nnected apps seem to synch or be able to show the current data. However the data from my Gear fit 2 does synch back to Samsung S7, it just does not display on the fit. I've tried synching, rebooting both devices but nothing seems to get the Gear Fit to display any data. Only thing that shows is the Watch face. I also get messages about sleep and meeting task goals but those do not open either to show the actual results/values.

I was having this issue and I just resolved it. I think out of the box I didn't know what to look for during the update, so I may have canceled it early. When you do the update, your watch will say 100% and look like it's done, but give it a few more minutes, then you'll see the install part of the update begin. All in all it takes about 5 minutes. Hope this helps people.

I had the same problem, got a message "unable to load data", tried numerous things to clear up problem with no effect. Later in the day, I updated the Samsung Health software on my cell phone and it cleared up the problem.

Still can't get weather to work on mine, still stuck on "unable to load data" tried all of the above still same. Gettin fed up of this now!
