Why can't I dual boot my Windows 10 with Kali Linux?

Why can't I dual boot my Windows 10 with Kali Linux? I have been trying to dual boot on Windows 10 with Kali Linux, but it is not working. I have tried turning off secure boot but the same thing happened. My windows just reboots again whenever I select to continue with installation for Kali Linux. How do I dual boot my computer??

How are you trying to duel boot . have you made a partition or are you using a second hard drive ? Have you formatted the partition correctly ? Have you looked into using a VM (Virtual Machine) instead as you are trying to install a hacking OS it may be better for your own computer to use a VM that way if anything goes sideways you can just crush the OS and start over . I use VM ware to host multipule OS and dont have to shut down my OS to open a new one as the VM operates inside the windows OS . This is a very simple explaination of what a VM is. There are several VM programs available and you can get all kinds of info on how to use them on you tube . Hope you find this helpful
