Why is my printer only showing up to print faxes and not printing?

When you click on print there will be a box come up and in that box will be "printer" somewhere depending on the version of windows you have . Where it says printer there is a drop down box in there you will see different choices make sure you select the printer . The first on the list is usually the fax as things are listed alphabetically. Remove the FAX Hp printer using disable driver options OR devices and printers from control panel. Then select the normal printer settings and enable that on network. That should take care of it. Usually these issues arise as you tend to install FAX using HP software.
