Apple Cinema HD doesn’t turn on. LED doesn’t light up or flicker or do anything at all.

Don’t worry, people here are all wrong.

My Cinema Display 30-inch says “Cinema HD Display” on its aluminium frame.

And yes, you need 5V power from Pin 14 of DVI connector to turn it on.

What I found worked is unplugging the USB that goes into the power brick.

"Are you sure you have a Cinema HD display? This display uses an old connector ADC (Apple Display Connector). You’ll need to convert it to DVI and then you’ll need to convert this one more time to DP (DisplayPort or mini DisplayPort) depending on what your PC’s graphics board supports.

By the time to get all of the needed adapters to get the signal converted, I think you can buy a better display for less. Besides we still don’t know if this display is even working."
