This happened to me and I contacted Tech after doing everything they said, Q-tips on the sensors, compressed air lightly on the laser. In my situation one time after six months of flawless use I had a additional table set up in my living room and then it was removed the next day. This apparently is what caused the issue. The map was updated with that table and once I remove the table everything went crazy. I tried moving the unit And even updated the software on the unit itself. It wasn’t until I sat down and took a step back and erased the floor plan, everything has been fineEver since

you have to calibrate a new battery on first use

Spin the lidar with the Q-tip and press start. Stick Q-tip against lidar turret softly you should feel it turning. If not might have a worn out drive band( belt). Also lidar motor might be getting weak or could be dirt or a obstruction.

I have this problem aswell. If the turret spins, the laser unit might have burned out, or the whole board is faulty. I would try to get another laser and swap it in to see if that is the problem. If it isnt, then it might be a board problem.

With the Error 3000. If the Lidar doesn’t spin then it can be the motor. The motor (NICHIBO TAIWAN RF-500TB-12560) fits for this model (fits for Neato BotVac 65 / 75 / 80 / 85 and Neato XV-21 and Vorwerk VR100). The wires needs to be soldered Positive (RED) to (-) negative and negative (BLACK) to (+) positive for it to work. If you are not in a rush then they can cost under $15 shipped from China.
