My disc tray ony my xbox 1 will not accept discs

My disc tray ony my xbox 1 will not accept discs The disc accepter will not take a disc like it should I have to forcefully put the disc in with much resistance and that does nothing I still can't play a game or anything iv searched all over the Internet cannot find anyone with this same problem help please

is it bad if you eject a disk while the xbox one is off

I have the disk problem as well and I have never acc cleaned it so I’m wondering is it the dust that is causing this

I tried the manual eject hole in the side and nothing happened! until I discovered there was no bloody disc in it! now I think I may have damaged it because I have to force the disc in and it won’t read it
