My info system does not come on.

My Vehicle Information Display started flickering as I was driving , then was working fine for a couple weeks, then became intermittent for a long time before going dark completely.

Went to a junk yard, and pulled one out of a wrecked '96 Grand Cherokee.

Accessing the old one was not easy. It's too long and involved to go into here, but is explained with photos in any mechanics guide for the '96 Jeep. So it was replaced, reset and works wonderfully !!!"
