"Oscar, another possible solution is replacing the batteries. Unlike some headphones, Beats Studios will not work without batteries. You can access the battery housing by twisting the circular piece of plastic with the Beats logo that is on the side of the headphones with the audio cable jack. The plastic cover should turn a little and then fall off easily. This guide walks you through what I just explained: Beats Studio First Generation Batteries Replacement.

Hope that helps!

If the replacing the batteries does not fix the problem, I would recommend looking through this troubleshooting page: Troubleshooting Beats Studio First Generation"

Oscar, the very first thing you want to try is a different device. That will ensure that it is your headphones that are failing. After that, plug the headphones in and try to bend the wire near the connector in a couple of different directions. Should you hear a scratching sound or should the sound return, you will have to replace the plug. If that does not work. you will have to get to the driver (speaker)and check the wiring from the connector to the driver (speaker) to see if there is a break in the wiring. Uncommon for the wiring to fail on both speakers, most likely a bad plug. Not complicated, but can be tedious.

Yesterday it was the first time I connected my monster by dr. Dre to Bluetooth and it worked very well. I disconnected it thu the night. This morning it will not even turn on. The red light is not even showing. I tried everything including trying another plug to o avail. I also tuned off and on Bluetooth. What am I missing?
