"So, when you get the message 'Custom binary blocked by FRP lock' it means you have flashed a unauthorized binary file to the phone and the phone is preventing itself to boot since it has detected the modified file(s).

Now to fix this to at least boot up properly you need to reflash the Samsung Firmware for your phone.

Match it to the model number shown on the back cover of the phone (SM-G9xx for example) or model number shown in download mode which you can access if you keep holding power + volume down + home until you get to light blue screen.

Here is a guide on how to flash Samsung Firmware:

Note if you want to also remove Google Account Lock you will need to use the method shown here:

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f777/uni...

Note that in most cases you will need to downgrade the firmware on the phone back to Android 6.x Marshmallow if you are already on Android 7.x Nougat for the FRP bypass method to work."

"1. You'll need to enable the hidden ""Developer options"" menu by heading to About phone (or About tablet) in Settings, then tapping the ""Build number"" entry 7 times in rapid succession.

2. Head to the ""Developer options"" menu, then toggle the switch next to the ""OEM unlocking"" entry to enable it."

Whenever you get the "Custom Binaries Blocked by FRP Lock" in red letters at the top of the screen when you try to boot to recovery, Ben who previously answered is partially correct in saying you have flashed a(n invalid) file to the phone and the phone is preventing itself to boot since it has detected the modified file(s). This can happen when you are trying to establish Root or flash a ROM that is incorrect for your device. Typically sometimes flashing in the official firmware may help, yet sometimes it does not. When that happens what's needed is an "Unlock FRP" file that most often is specific to each device. This means you can't just use any unlock frp file and this is not the kind of FRP lock that has to do with Google Sign in stopping you from accessing the device functionality. In Binary Lock Mode the device does not load past the Logo screen. BE ADVISED! This will also fatory reset your device.

Open and fastboot minimal and type adb devices then if it says connected to android with a serial number then you are connected to and then type dab boot loader reboot boot loader then type dab boot loader oem unlock oem and that should be it then boot up phone and go to settings and go to about device then look for build number tap it repetitively till it says developer options are open then back out and go to settings at the bottom you will see developer options and in there check oem on and fixed
