right speaker is broken should I attempt to repair or switch to wired

the point where the right speaker connects to the main headset is broken so no audio comes from it anymore, should I try to replace this headset with a more inexpensive and competent headset (cause cash is tight for me) or should I make an attempt to repair it, like I said only the right speaker is broken and before this happened I would usually play with only the left speaker directly on my ear so it’s mostly a nuisance.

It’s actually pretty easy to open up the ear phones and see if there is a loose wire. It is a size 5 torx security bit found in the ifixit basic toolkit. Take off the ear muffs and there are 3 screws. Gently move away the speaker and be careful of the short wire. The wire is clipped to the speaker plastic so you can unclip this to inspect closer. Anything missing or loose can be re-soldered. If you need images just ask as I can upload some. Good luck!
