"I’m sure I’ve said this before but that program simply doesn’t work for a blank screen. It wants the phone in USB mode (if I remember correctly) and you can’t do that if you can’t see the screen.

Replacing the screen was NOT on the list of things to do. It cost too much."

I connected a screen to my samsung, the touch was still working so it was a werid way to fix, guessing keys to hit.. but now its done

"Unless you have those things saved to the cloud, you need to get into the system.

If you did have things backed up, it's way easier, just go to where you have your stuff saved and recover it. Google Photos and Drive work with iPhone, and you can get your contacts if you had them saved on some account as well."
