Why does my xbox turn off after 1 minute with no display?

I started my xbox one up one day and it only stayed on after a minute, nothing on the display showed up and my controllers refuse to pair with their blinking light showing. Even holding the sync button on the xbox doesn't do anything. My fans are spinning. The only thing that sounds out of place maybe is that the hard drive makes a noise every 20 seconds like it suddenly stopped and started again. I opened it up and removed all dust inside which were minimal amounts. Any ideas?

"These usually come with a Seagate Mobile HDD, these commonly go bad after 1-2 years. If it’s making a ticking pattern the hard drive will need to be replaced. One way to confirm it’s the HDD is to just plug in any 2.5” laptop sized hard drive and see if you can get display at least.
