Why is my camera losing its power so quickly?

"If the battery is not holding its charge it can be due to several reasons. At certain temperatures such as temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) the battery will deplete faster. In such case, try moving the camera to a warmer environment.

Also recording videos and using the flash tend to deplete the battery faster so be mindful of this.

If you feel like the cases above are not the culprit it may be time to replace the battery. It is very common that batteries lose their ability to hold their charge for longer periods of time.
