"Hi @ Bertie Haynes,

What is the temp in the fridge section?

Can you hear if the evaporator fan is running in the freezer section?

The fan is behind a panel inside the freezer compartment. If the compressor motor is running, the evap fan will be running (not talking about the condenser fan which is on the outside of the cabinets at the bottom).

When a door is opened (either door) the evap fan will stop running. When the doors are closed it will start again. You don’t want to blow cold air out when a door is opened ;-)

You may have to press an ear against the fridge to hear it stop and start.

If you can't hear it at all, it may be faulty or iced up.

If it is iced up then there may be a problem with the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat.

The fan is used to push cold air flowing over the evap unit, from the freezer into the refrigerator section via the damper to cool down the fridge to the required temp. The freezer will always be colder even if the fan isn’t running as the evap unit which generates the cold is located there.

Here’s a link to the parts for your model. Click on the freezer part diagram to see the location of the evap and evap fan."
