I have 1998 Chevy c/k 4.6 1500. 2wd

I have 1998 Chevy c/k 4.6 1500. 2wd I took it through a pre- admissions check and the code came back that the check engine light isn't coming on and needs to be on then I checked all the electrical fuses and there's one row of three fuses under the hood that I have no power running to them and they are connected with pink wires I don't know what to do!! I have to have it come on so I can get the codes to fix it in time for the real test on September 17th 2017!! Please HELP!!
