LG 42LF561V Full HD LED Television Dark Picture

TV seems to be working fine but the picture has suddenly gone very dark, I have tried turning the power saver off and setting the picture to vivid, I’ve also tried re-setting picture and sound but still no improvement . Not sure if this is a backlight issue or something else as TV has hardly been used
