Mutimeter checks out that power runs on Kenmore Elite Electric Dryer?

I have a Kenmore Elite Electric Dryer Model 110.62992101. Cycle timer starts but wont advance past a few seconds and stops. cycle timer sounds buts no lights eliminate for moisture sensor. I changed door switch.

ANSWERS:

"You may be only getting 1/2 of the power needed. The dryer runs on two 120 volt circuits.

The wall plug should have a ground and two 110-120 volt lines. Plug your multimeter into both hot lines and see if you are getting 220- 240 volts."
