My Panasonic VIERA TC-P50ST60 won't stay on.

My Panasonic VIERA TC-P50ST60 won’t stay on. It turns on using the remote, but it turns off when I hit any button on the remote, not just the power button. I can’t get into the menu to reset to factory settings because the TV itself turns off as soon as I hit the menu button. I tried to unplug for awhile, changed remote batteries, nothing seems to fix it. My 2 year old daughter did get ahold of the remote while I was in the other room, is there some mode she could have put the TV into that makes it shut off constantly?

Does it also do this when using the TV control buttons and not the remote, you didn’t say?

If it works OK using the TV controls, check for jammed buttons on the remote.

Also is it the only remote in the room i.e. no other remote e.g. firestick etc?"
