Screen going black but picture is still in the background faintly

Screen going black but picture is still in the background faintly My toshiba tv screen goes black. Can still make out a faint picture on the back ground and when I press the menu button I can faintly see the menu on the screen if I use a light. Sound still works. ANSWERS:
