Should I try to repair my Vizio E55-E1's dim screen?
It is a Vizio E55-E1. The screen was already dim at one corner when we got it from a friend for free. Now, about 10% of the screen looks like its normally lit. I had the brightness pretty high as well, to make up for the dimness of that one corner when we got it. Just one morning I turned it on and almost the whole screen was super dim. I have no knowledge of repair and I'd be going based on your responses and a YouTube tutorial. Is it worth trying since the entire screen is dim basically and I have no knowledge of how to repair it? The image I posted auto adjusted a little I think. It is probably 50% brighter than the screen actually is IRL. This is also at max brightness.
