Sony Bravia KDL52XBR4 motion blur and vertical lines on left side

Sony Bravia KDL52XBR4 motion blur and vertical lines on left side I just bought a tv after being told it worked fine and plugged it in and low and behold it isnt fine. The middle of the tv is dark, the left side is motion blurred and has a vertical line on left side as well ANSWERS:
