Tail lights staying on like im pushing on the breaks all the time
(1998 Chevy k1500 z71 5.7L) My trucks brake lights stay on. Replaced the brake light switch under the steering column and the brake light relay under the hood. The relay itself is hot under the hood but I imagine that's due to the lights constantly staying on. If I remove the relay the lights will shut off and when I put it back on they stay off until I start the truck and hit the brakes then they stay lit up. What do I do? Needing some help about now.
