My model is slightly different: LN46B530P7NXZA but apparently from the same family.

I also had this issue on my Samsung TV - intermittently the whole image was washed out and milky. Replaced the T-con board but I suspect just replacing the one IC would have worked as well - it was clear that the refurbished board I bought had only had that one IC replaced.
