Whirlpool dryer w10671235 heater running but tub not spinning.

My dryer, after finishing a load last night, would not start when I tried the next load. I noticed that after about an hour of not running it was still very warm. Upon inspection I found the area at the top right corner of the back was hot to.the touch. I turned the breaker off and of course it cooled down. This morning I turned the breaker back on and the unit still would not run, and the heater area became hot again .
