Why does my truck s engine die at random times?
have installed new fuel pump and filter. sometimes it will start and run for a few minutes then dies as if its out of gas. checking trouble codes, once I got codes 21 and 43. i checked for bad connections in all of the sensors, cleared codes, then i got a code 51. then i got bunch of random blinks of the check engine light and i could hear the pcm making a clicking noise. after that, i got it to run for about 1/2 an hour, turned the ignition off and back on several times, drove the truck around the block. then parked it. the next day it wouldn't start. all of the gauges show at the proper range for normal operation.
