Why does the Magic Chef microwave keep pressing auto cook button?

Try this procedure and check if that resolves the problem.
If that doesn’t work try turning off the power to the oven for 5 minutes and then turning the power back on.
If still no good then it may be a loose or faulty switch not signalling the control board correctly. I cannot find a schematic for the oven but looking at the parts list, there are 4 switches. (search for switch in the parts search box)
I’ve never come across an oven having 4 switches as most that I know only have 3 door interlock switches, so I’m wondering what the 4th one is for. Perhaps it is used to signal the timer in the control board but this is just a guess."
