Why does TV power on then go dark

Why does TV power on then go dark My Samsung UN50H6350AFXZA 50-Inch Class 1080P Led Smart Hdtv TV has two cracks in front screen, it powers up and says Samsung smart TV and then goes to a grey screen. I can still hear sounds. ANSWERS:
