Why is my iPod Video's screen always lit?
I put a new screen in my iPod. I bought the supplies from iFixit. The install went excellent had virtually no challenges. It worked great for a couple of weeks, but now the screen stays lit. The computer only recognizes it as unknown hardware.
ANSWERS:
What happens when you try to reset the iPod? (Hold menu+center) If that works, try holding Center + Play/Pause to get into Disk Mode, try restoring the iPod. if that doesn't work, your mainboard may be fried. cheers!
