Yes, a 17-year old or 16, 15, 14, 13 year old is eligible to apply for a BDO Savings Account. They can open a specific type of BDO account called Power Teens Club account.


​What is BDO Power Teens Club account?


BDO Power Teens Club account is a fixed interest-bearing savings account for young adults above 12 to 19 years old, with specially designed passbook and ATM card which can be used as a shopping card at all SM Department Stores.

Please be guided of the following interest that applies for each account:


Product Features:
Initial deposit requirement - Php 2,000.00
Minimum balance to earn interest - Php 2,000.00


With specially-designed ATM Card
Can be used as Shopping Card
Fixed interest rates
Insured with PDIC up to Php 500,000.00 per depositor


For joint account, both customers should be physically present at the branch. Please bring the following documents:


School Registration:
2 valid ID (photo-bearing) - School ID is required


*Service Charge for falling below the Monthly Average Daily Balance (MADB) requirement is Php 300.00. The Php 300.00 service charge is automatically debited from an account at the end of the month if the MADB fell below requirement for 2 consecutive months.

Hi. Can I open my account without my parents with me? I’m only 16 years old and I’m planning to open a bank account for remittance. Okay lang po ba yun? It says that I must bring a 2 valid ID but I only have a 1 ID which is my school ID. Pwedi lang po ba yun ?

Hi ! What If I only have NSO Birth Certificate ?. Because I don't go to school. But I'm 17 years old, highschool graduate. And I want to open an account to start online job.
