The conduct of the 2012 National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) was announced through DepEd Memorandum No. 86, s. 2012. However, dates and venues of the different competitions were not included.
In this connection, the Department of Education (DepEd) announces the following change and additional information: - The deadline for submission of an application packet containing specified documents with an acceptable video (VCD 8s DVD) in mpeg-2 format of the contestant's audition performance to the NAMCYA Secretariat for the Traditional Music Ensemble, Phase I: Regional (Video) Competitions (Elimination Level), is on or before September 23, 2012 instead of July 25, 2012;
- The schedule of the Phase II: Regional Center Competitions (Semi-Finals) is as follows:
